| 1923 | The first in Crimea department of Donskoy testing Chamber on control of measuring means in application was created in Simferopol |
| 1924 | The department is re-named into the Crimean testing Chamber, where three inspectors were checking the primary bench scales, wagon scales, weights. |
| 1966 | Beginning the activity on state supervision after keeping to the standards requirements and measuring equipment. |
| 1968 | Crimean state control laboratory is founded (CCL) |
| 1975 | CCL is re-named to inter-regional laboratory of state supervision after standards and measuring equipment (IRLSS) |
| 1979 | On the basis of IRLSS Crimean center of standardization and metrology is founded. (CSM). |
| 1993 | Crimean center of standardization and metrology becomes Crimean center of standardization, metrology and certification. | | 1995 | Activity on product and service certification is launched. | | 1996 | The status of “the state” is attached to the Crimean center of standardization, metrology and certification. By order of the State consumer standard of Ukraine No 237 КГЦСМС is given the status of the State enterprise “Crimean regional scientific-production center of | | 18.12.03. | standardization, metrology and certification” To the departments of МОИ КГЦСМС in the towns of Dzhankoy, Yevpatoria, Yalta, Alushta, Feodosia and Kerch is given the status of affiliates of the state enterprise “Krymstandartmetrologia”.
The body on certification obtains the right to perform works on ecological system management certification in accordance with the standard requirements ДСТУ ISO 14001-97.
By the order of the State consumer standard of Ukraine No 185 the Body on | | 25.08.2004 | certification of the state enterprise “Krymstandartmetrologia” is nominated to be the body on certification of security management system of food products. |
